I love the feeling after a good ab workout. All it takes is one night to get started on cardio & strength training before you get hooked and always LOVE that burning feeling… okay maybe not “always” love it but it gets your blood flowing all over & you just feel thinner.

Dear Twitter Friends

Have you really ever look at the followers of some Twitter profiles that have and grow by 1000′s a day? Well in my research over the last couple days I have notice and watched those Twitter profiles and have come to an answer (well kinda) its a pretty simple research really…

ONE: Please take a look at this image, this image is from one of the Twitter profiles I have been “stalking” and observing.

So when I clicked on a couple of these Tweeps profiles they all looked like this…

So, yes I know Twitter is “new” to those who are not big web/internet geeks and they are not sure how to upload a photo or design their page BUT these people have no followers no twits NOTHING! Im not even sure if they are real people.

More and more that Twitter grows Im really starting to think that people are thinking this network is all about how many followers you have or be impressed by those who have a lot of followers. This site is not (and I hope doesn’t become) a popular contest. I hope those of you that do use Twitter use it to really connect with people, get to know or get free Suns tickets from @THE_REAL_SHAQ and NOT to gain lots of followers. Use this network site please to “network” NOT to get a big ego because you have “this many followers” really try and connect to your followers @ them back DM questions etc… cause really at the end of the day we are all real normal people. Nothing more and nothing less

If you follow Shaq or Demi Moore you know you are getting the real deal, yes this is what makes twitter one of kind. But the more I hear and read about Twitter it’s really no different than opening up a chat room online, and yes you can “TWIT” live from your cell phone and download an app for your iphone to get live updates, but like one of my followers on twitter states “It’s like chat meets post responses and they call it micro and real time. New platform but nothing new.” @BizGirl seconds after I posted this “NEWS FLASH: Twitter is really no different than a chat room. The only reason why it is getting such hype is cause some famous peeps are on it” I also got a response of “i have yet to get one of those famous peeps to respond. But yes, its very chat roomish” @jabberjim As I learn more about this new world of social media the best quote I have yet heard was from @tdhurst with “We are making all the rules and guidelines to this new era”. Think about it, we really are.

Myspace, Facebook and now Twitter were the top three heard on news channels, blogger spots and social network groups. Now with Twitter at the top like the others it will die down, but what really gets me ( dont get me wrong Im no pro-blogger) but is amazes me that because twitter is a “mircoblog” EVERYONE thinks they are problogger and/or a “web geek”. On that note I leave you with this… Will you still follow and keep up with Twitter once it loses its kick? Or will Twitter really spark you to have an up to date blog to join the rest of us? Either way if I follow you or you follow me I look forward to your respones to what I have just put out there. I am one to want to learn from others and get others thoughts and comments on this new era we are starting.
