CITY magazine is based out of New York City, its the sister magazine of Desert Living Magazine located here in Phx (I use to work there many moons ago) Anyways I stay up to date with all their magazines, events and Have you heard? email blast, they posted a great behind the scene video of their most recent issue. I love and so inspired by the crew that put this magazine together, they know how to push it, push design, push photographers and push to be different and not give a damn about it…. and somehow they do all this pushing and keep the overall design simple and clean.  Alexander Wolf is one the master minds behind CITY, I had the joy of working and learning from him when I worked at Desert Living… along with FAB.

OK REALLY?! The week I start my diet and excuse life this happens to me.. hmm it must be testing me! I didn’t get one tho I sat at my desk while everyone else enjoyed their yummy glazed donuts.

My thighs thanked me.

I love the feeling after a good ab workout. All it takes is one night to get started on cardio & strength training before you get hooked and always LOVE that burning feeling… okay maybe not “always” love it but it gets your blood flowing all over & you just feel thinner.

Whats your favorite ab workout at home? Also did you know that grapefruit is a great snack and helps lose belly fat! Please share any other facts you know too

Okay Im going to share some of my little beauty tips that I use at home that are cheap, fast and easy. Friday night we went out for a friends birthday and well we ended up staying out till 2 in the morning. I have not done that in a while so ALL weekend I’ve been sleepy & my eyes have been puffy like no other! So here are my puffy eye tips.

Beauty tip for puffy eyes:

Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Daily Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream, Anti-puff eye roller and frozen cucumbers are my best friends when I have been up late and have not gotten enough sleep. My little secret is Ill cut up a cucumber place in baggie and toss them in the freezer, I will also put the eye cream in the fridge so when you go to rub it on your eyes its nice and cold. Ill pull out two of my frozen cucumbers like an hour before I want to place them on  my eyes, I only leave them on there till they get soft. The eye roller is great for a quick fix, the metal roller gives you that instant life!
